Howard Hindin D.D.S. is trained in all aspects of general dentistry, with an early emphasis on surgery and endodontia. Since the 1990s, his practice has also focused on cosmetic dentistry, temporomandibular joint disorders, craniofacial pain, and complementary medicine as well as advocacy for patient and doctor rights. An acknowledged pioneer in the relationship between dental issues and whole body health, Dr. Hindin is the co-founder of the American Academy of Physiologic Medicine and Dentistry (AAPMD) and the non-profit Foundation for Airway Health (FAH). These organizations help to prevent the proliferation of chronic disease in the U.S. based on airway, sleep and breathing awareness, research and education.
He is also an active member of the American Academy of Pain Management, American Academy of Craniofacial Pain, American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology, and the NY State Society of Acupuncture for Physician and Dentists. Dr. Hindin has presented important position papers to dental and medical groups throughout the country. Michael Gelb D.D.S. M.S. is an innovator in airway, breathing, sleep, and painful TMJ disorders pioneering Airway Centric.™ Dr. Gelb has studied early intervention for sleep disordered breathing (SDB) specializing in how it relates to fatigue, focus, pain, and the effects all of these can have on family health.
Dr. Gelb received his D.D.S. degree from Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery and his M.S. degree from SUNY at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. He is the former Director of the TMJ and Orofacial Pain Program at the NYU College of Dentistry and is currently Clinical Professor in the Department of Oral Medicine and Pathology at the NYU College of Dentistry. He has pioneered a new paradigm in preventive public healthcare named Airway Centric™. He was awarded Diplomate of the American Board of Orofacial Pain in 1995.

Jeffrey S. Hindin, D.D.S. After graduating from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in 1993, Dr. Jeffrey Hindin completed a General Practice Residency at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Buffalo. He completed The Brookdale Hospital/NYU Maxi Course in Oral Implantology.
Dr. Hindin is one of the founders of the Hindin Center for Whole Health Dentistry, where he practices all phases of restorative and cosmetic dentistry. He has a special interest in the treatment of craniofacial pain, TMD and sleep disorders. He has also created a system of monitoring physiologic functions and incorporates biofeedback modalities into patient care.
Dr. Hindin is currently conducting important clinical research into the relationship between orofacial pain, splint therapy, physiologic function and heart rate variability. He has lectured internationally on this subject and is also an instructor and expert in software development for the Biofeedback Foundation of Europe. Additionally, he has a patent pending on a system and method for facilitating adjustment of an oral appliance.
Dr. Hindin is active in many professional societies including Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantology and memberships in the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, American Academy of Pain Management, American Academy of Craniofacial Pain, American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, International Association of Orthodontics, Association of Applied Psychophysiology and Biofeedback, and Academy of Laser Dentistry.
John J. Kelly, D.D.S. maintains a full time private practice in Chicago. His focus is on TMJ dysfunction, functional cosmetics, sleep breathing disorders, complex functional cosmetics, and child facial growth and development. Currently he is a consultant at Lurie’s Children’s Hospital in Chicago and is involved with Northwestern University researching performance, heart rate variability, and inflammatory markers related to airway. He is a member of the America Autonomic Society, American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, Founding member of the North American Association of Facial Orthotropics, the American Academy of Gnathological Orthopedics, and the Illinois State Dental Society. He also has certificates in Neuromuscular Orthodontics and Craniomandibular Pathophysiology. Dr. Kelly is also the co-founder of TAD systems.
Glennine Varga is a certified TMD assistant and educator with an AA of sciences. She is a certified TMD assistant with the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain, and has been employed in dental education for over 17 years.
Glennine is certified in radiology and electrodiagnostics. Her expanded duties include dental assistance in the treatment of temporomandibular disorders. Glennine has been a TMD/Sleep Apnea trainer for over ten years, including excellent experience in medical billing and documentation. She has been providing training on the use of electrodiagnostic equipment for over five years.
Glennine has trained and assisted hundreds of dental offices on software for medical claims processing and practice marketing. Glennine is well recognized by industry leaders, dentists and educators for her long history of successful speaking engagements at seminars, conferences, summits, and industry events. In addition to her abilities as a dental sleep educator, she also has innate selling skills.
